SPLINTS & MOUTH GUARDS

sPLINT

Teeth can wear down prematurely when they are misaligned or bite together in a way that generates greater forces on teeth than ideal. Many of us clench or grind our teeth at night, often without realizing it. Over time this can lead to wear, chipping, cracking, broken teeth, jaw pain and jaw clicking. If you find you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it may be time for an occlusal splint. This is a hard, durable mouth guard that is worn at night, which relieves the pressure placed on the teeth and jaw.

mOUTH GUARDS

Our dental team believes in protecting your teeth from injury, wear and pain. Our goal is to prevent our patients from needing potentially expensive dental procedures that can result from broken teeth due to sports injuries. If you or your child requires a custom sport mouthguard, we can help. Available in a variety of colours, including AFL team colours, these mouth guards will not only keep you or your child’s teeth safe during play, they will also be comfortable as they are made to fit each person’s mouth specifically.
